Sunnybrook hospital one of city’s parking ticket hot spots: report

TORONTO – A hospital in north Toronto is among the places drivers in the city are most likely to get a parking ticket, according to the website ParkinToronto.com.

A Toronto man launched the website to help drivers avoid parking tickets, the Toronto star reported.

ParkinToronto.com shows users the addresses in the city where the most parking tickets have been given out.

The website also allows users to find out when they’re most likely to get ticked.

According to the website — which collected parking ticket data over five years — 49,888 parking tickets were issued at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, making it the most ticketed address in Toronto.

Second on the list was the Seneca College campus located 1750 Finch Ave., with 39,792 tickets issued, while 20 Edward St. came in third with 31,357 tickets.

The man who developed the website is also working on an app that would calculate a driver’s probability of getting a ticket when typing in the address.
